Nys License With Temporary Visitor I Can Get My License At 17?

I can get my license at 17? - nys license with temporary visitor

I took my driving test and went, but still contribute to the drivers ed I live in Upstate New York in at 17 in 3 months I get my license or I have to wait 4 that up to 18 IM. I was given a temporary permit, but some ppl say, I can not drive yet, and some say that I cand Shore Single Well, I do not want to ruin my license with this plz help
