Antenna House Excellent For The Working Engineer And Serious Student WiFi Access Point Idea?

WiFi access point idea? - antenna house excellent for the working engineer and serious student

Here's the problem / idea, and it is real, so they need real help with it: There are two houses of 400 feet, the house of my friend and his grandmother, who go after school and on weekends. He has picked up a router at home, hardly on his laptop into the house of his grandmother. The offer should be enhanced so that you can get a good reception at home.

My idea to solve the problem (again, this is real): Take the hard line that connects your mother's office and a connection to an additional router. Configure the new router to act as a bridge (will not be passed in this case then?). Buy an external antenna to mount the right side of the window. This should give excellent coverage on the way home from his grandmother, but remains in the same network.

Is this possible? If you bridge two wireless routers when you create it as a normal router and the other as a bridge? Is that the bridge needs to be wired, or the signal can get over the other? Thank you!
